Established in 2017 by the Western Massachusetts Lacrosse Officials Association, the Jimmy Dunleavy Memorial Scholarship honors the time, talent, and dedication Jim had both in the classroom and on the lacrosse field.
Jim left behind a legacy of outstanding sportsmanship, friendship, respect, and a dedication to the pursuit of higher achievement, whether on the lacrosse field or in the classroom.
The Jimmy Dunleavy Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to award scholarships to deserving senior students in high school in good academic and athletic standing, and with a proven record of hard work, sportsmanship, and the willingness to want to learn and achieve success.
To apply for or nominate someone for this year’s Dunleavy Scholarship, please submit the application found here by May 15, 2024.
